Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is defined as “the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques, to enhance function, aid in the healing process, decrease muscle reflex activity, inhibit motor-neuron excitability and promote relaxation and well-being”.
What does this mean to you, you might wonder… It means getting back to the things you love to do and feeling great while doing them. Therapeutic massage is an excellent complement to chiropractic treatment and can help you reach your health goals faster than with chiropractic alone. Our therapists are both highly trained to make your massage as comfortable as possible while utilizing their skills to help your body during the recovery process.
Whether massage is utilized as a complementary service to chiropractic care or a stand-alone therapy, our massage therapy services are just one of the many research-proven ways we use to improve your health.
Injury Treatment

Massage Therapy can decrease pain and promote quicker healing from many injuries.
Prenatal
Our massage therapists are specially trained in prenatal care and are confident working with mothers to be! Prenatal massage can help to relieve some of the discomforts arising from the changes your body is going through. Prenatal massage can not only help with the physical aches and pains, but can help you relax and fight depression and stress that can come with the hormonal changes.
Intraoral
Our massage therapists are certified in intra-oral massage, which focuses on massaging through the mouth, which can help treat pain and other symptoms of the jaw, such as popping, clicking and locking of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Your dentist may have even diagnosed you with TMJD or TMJS, the symptoms of these conditions can be alleviated with intra-oral massage. Co-managing your TMJ symptoms with your chiropractor can help ensure that the cause is identified and being addressed; this greatly increases the likelihood of long term success.
CBD
Our massage therapist, Christina King is certified to administer CBD Medical Massage Therapy. Cannabidiol (CBD) is an all natural compound derived from the hemp plant that is 100% non-intoxicating. CBD can be used to help relieve a variety of symptoms related to all sorts of different conditions but its main use is for treating pain and inflammation. Our CBD Medical massages utilize the highest quality transdermal Cannabidiol (CBD) creams during the course of your massage to treat your problem areas and help relieve the pain and inflammation.
Cupping
Suction cups are used to pull blood to the surface of the skin which helps improve circulation and promote healing. Cupping therapy helps relieve aching muscles, releases joint stiffness and may reduce inflammation for a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release therapy is a type of gentle, constant massage that releases tightness and pain throughout your myofascial tissues. First, your healthcare provider will locate trigger points, or knots, in your fascial tissues. Then, they’ll gently apply pressure until they feel the tension release.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy, or cranial sacral therapy (CST), is a gentle, noninvasive and hands-on treatment that may provide relief from pain, like headaches and neck pain, side effects of cancer treatment and more. A healthcare provider may recommend CST in addition to other forms of treatment.
Gua Sha
Gua sha is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves scraping your skin with a smooth-edged tool to improve circulation. Gua sha, also known as scraping therapy, is generally performed on the back, buttocks, arms, and legs. A gentle version of it is used on the face and neck.
Structural Integration (SI)
Structural Integration (SI) is a form of manual therapy that uses slow, deep pressure to organize the body's fascial (connective) tissue, aiming to improve posture, reduce pain, and enhance body alignment. Unlike a traditional relaxation massage, SI is a process that involves a series of sessions, often completing a "10-series" program, to address the whole body rather than isolated symptoms. It helps release fascial restrictions caused by injury, stress, and poor movement patterns, which can pull the body out of alignment and lead to chronic pain.
