While Chiropractic is wonderful at quickly and efficiently changing body alignment it is also very important to incorporate exercises and/or rehabilitation. Both of our Chiropractors are further certified in physio-therapy.
Through exercise and rehabilitation, you will be given a plan to both target and support your injured or problem areas by strengthening/stretching the appropriate muscle groups. These exercises and stretches work to maintain the alignment achieved with your adjustments and correct systemic issues that can be the continued cause of the pain or issues. They are typically basic stretches or strengthening exercising that can be done without any equipment or a gym. Keeping up with the exercises and stretches (or homework as we call it) is a crucial part of treatment. By doing this, you give your body its best chance to achieve your goals for the long term.
