Whitney Schneider received her massage license in early 2013 after graduating from the extended 1000 hour program at Cortiva Institute in Seattle. She has practiced for doctors and spas in Houston, Seattle and now Olympia. She enjoys spending time cooking, hiking, camping and crafting with her husband, Jon, who is a kindergarten teacher.
Whitney approaches the body as a puzzle; when one part hurts, the entire structure should be evaluated to find the root of the problem. She blends techniques to both relax overly tight muscles and to train stubborn muscles that misalign the body. Whitney enjoys helping people identify postural issues while also teaching self care skills to maintain proper posture and effective functionality between massage sessions. She can help increase mobility, decrease pain, reduce misaligned posture, and ease tension in both body and mind.
